Business Intelligence Developer / Programmer - Chicago, IL

Be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting software for the finance, treasury and accounting functions as well as driving efficiency and effectiveness through development of analytical solutions. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Responsibilities:
-Interact with multiple departments to understand requirements.
-Work cross functionally with other software development functions to create optimal company wide solutions.
-Design processes and build tools to extract, transform, and load.
-Design and develop reporting applications using data warehousing concepts.
-Develop and maintain reporting solutions using C#, T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS. ASP.NET.
-Design and develop necessary database objects (tables, stored procedures, etc.).
-Identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:
-Strong development skills in C# or Java.
-Experience with SQL and stored procedures for RDMS databases.
-Experience with OLAP tools, specifically MDX.
-Analytical mindset with a heavy attention to detail, and able to manage numerous priorities and meet deadlines.
-Team oriented: work with Trading, Compliance, Clearing, Accounting, Finance, Data Services and Administration to achieve goals.
-Be able to work alone or as a member of a team.
-Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Securities industry knowledge a plus
-Knowledge and experience with accounting or ERP packages
-Financial Accounting/Reporting experience
