Seeking an exceptional Data Analyst for top tier proprietary electronic trading firm. Responsibilities involve data gathering, data management and data analysis. Strong analytical and quantitative skills are an essential requirement.

Job Requirements:
-Thorough knowledge and demonstrated skills in mathematical modeling and statistical analysis.
-Must have strong computer skills and prior experience with statistical analysis software.
-Demonstrated ability to work with relational databases, large data sets and SQL.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.

Technical Responsibilities:
-Prototype applications to test the viability of ideas.
-Interface with the technology team to determine the feasibility of deploying the prototyped applications.
-Develop metrics, statistics and reports for monitoring trading, risk, operations, etc.

General Responsibilities:
-Contribute to the firm from an understanding of the firm's trading style, software platform and values.
-Abide by the firm’s values in an exemplary manner.
