Seeking an exceptional Risk Developer to focus on supporting various facets of risk management for a top-tier electronic proprietary trading firm.

You will need strong analytical and problem solving skills. The risk developer will interact with risk analysts, traders and developers to proactively assess and manage risk exposure via reporting, monitoring and analysis. The primary focus will be to create and maintain databases, reporting and analyses in support of these efforts. The ability to draw conclusions from data and transform data, both at a detail and big picture level, into actionable information is a must.

To accomplish these goals, strong C# or Java or C++ and SQL (T-SQL ideally) and ASP.NET skills are a necessity in addition to a mathematical and/or risk background with 2-5 years of experience. Previous risk experience and/or experience working with large data sets also required.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and demonstrated success working in a team environment by engaging in vigorous debate, treating fellow associates with respect, and the use of critical thinking skills.
