Responsibilities :
Travel: Min-50% / Max-65%

Sr. Consultant delivers high quality Information Availability consulting services to internal/external clients, as part of an Engagement Team. The Engagement Team, led by an Engagement Manager, designs and implements client centric information availability solutions that resolve prevailing industry and client business issues. Maintain practice and project related information (time, forecasts, work products, methodologies, etc.) in appropriate repositories. The Information Availability consulting will include Business Impact Analysis, Risk Analysis, Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery Planning, and Testing and Validation for all business practices and Information Technology Resources across a Corporate Enterprise.

Under the direction of the Practice Area Manager, deliver support to the practice for information availability in the area’s concentration of services. Contribute to the success of the practice area through; personal billable utilization, service delivery compliance, and contribution to the practice area knowledgebase.

Project Delivery
• Perform all consulting with the highest degree of professional conduct
• Adhere to formal service methodologies for deliverables and overall project execution
• Ensure your assigned project tasks are completed on time and within budget
• Use Changepoint to input billable time, status tasks and forecasting project activities

Deployability & Professional Development
• Meet billable utilization target of 75%
• Maintain accurate personal calendar and forecasts on a timely basis
• Maintain professional certifications in information availability (i.e. CBCP, MBCI, etc.)
• Coordinate with supervisor on developing and executing individual training plan

Quality & Customer Satisfaction
• Meet or exceed client expectations (as noted by zero client complaints, client feedback and formal Customer Satisfaction surveys)
• Ensure compliance with internal quality control processes before providing client with deliverables
• Demonstrate reliability and responsiveness to client and/or engagement management requests

Qualifications :
• College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent
• BA degree in business, BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Certification in Information Availability (such as CBCP, MBCI, etc.) preferred

Business Requirements:
• 3-5 years professional experience
• 2 years experience in information availability, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery
• 2 years direct consulting experience, preferred
• Prior work experience in a regulated environment (a plus)

Technology Skills:
• General technical knowledge and/or expertise in multiple areas of information systems technology (e.g. operating systems, networking software, databases, client/services computing, LAN, PC’s, etc.)
• Strong understanding of advanced computer system and information availability issues
