Looking for talented application specialist with stellar training ability/client-facing skills.

$40K base and bonus plus $100 daily stipend when traveling and full benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Travel throughout Midwest and Eastern U.S. full-time, with some travel on weekends.
- Install and configure proprietary software to integrate with a variety of databases.
- Train end-users on use of our proprietary software.
- Support current customers during onsite visits.
- Provide phone support to both inexperienced and highly technical users of proprietary software.
- Supply first level troubleshooting of wide area networks, servers and desktops.

Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of three years application installation and support experience.
- Possess a strong knowledge of PC-based computing systems.
- MUST have system administration experience in order to join Windows based PCs to existing networks running a variety of operating systems.
- Working knowledge of ODBC connectivity to SQL Server and other databases.
- Solid understanding of the Internet (DNS, HTML, HTTP, HTTPS, POP, SMTP, FTP, TELNET).
- Ability to install and configure leading anti-virus, anti-spyware suites, MS Office suite, pcAnywhere, Procomm Plus, WinZip, etc.
- Strong knowledge of email clients, setup and troubleshooting.
- Configure new PCs for resale (configure user accounts, windows updates, install software).
- Proficiency in all Windows platforms (95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, 2003).
- Good knowledge of the Windows Registry.
- Ability to assign dynamic or static TCP/IP, map network drives, troubleshoot networking issues.
- SCO Unix, Citrix MetaFrame, Terminal Server, Novell Netware, dumb terminal experience helpful but not required.
- Training and technical writing experience a plus.
- An Associates degree or equivalent is desired.
