Job Description:
**Experience with ERP packages key; Experience with SAP a plus**

Responsible for the technical management activities ensuring the operating environment has sufficient capacity, performance and resilience to achieve the service levels and enough security to protect the systems from unauthorized access.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain an operating plan, set budget and headcount targets and ensure these are adhered to or ensure any approved adjustment is made.
-Provide a number of administrative capabilities, including Database administration/Server operating systems admin/Web servers admin/Remote access admin/Security admin.
-Execute capacity planning, monitoring, modeling and trending.
-Perform availability planning and monitoring.
-Define active directory strategy and lead execution.
-Conduct market analysis/product evaluation.
-Perform accurate asset tracking.
-Ensure that all systems have continuity plans in place and processes and procedures are available in a disaster situation.
-Design and deploy common policies/procedures in all Technical Support areas across the Group.
-Provide formalized services within overall service level structure to business customers who have previously never had this framework.
-Provide technical support for global ERP packages that are in different lifecycle stages and physically located in three different countries.

Qualifications:
-7+ years experience in a Technology Environment
-Strong people and team management skills and experience (15+ people)
-Good knowledge and experience of ITIL standards and best practice within operational environments
-Experience of monitoring and maintaining performance
-Manage 1200 servers across over 100 sites
-Ability to liaise with senior staff and third party executives
-Understanding of Helpdesk Tools (e.g. Altiris)
-Business and financial awareness of the impact of problems
-Good knowledge of security issues relating to key platforms
-Working knowledge of Remote Server Management Tools and virtualization
-Experience with storage, growth planning, security and deployment
