Sr Software Product Architect

King Of Prussia, PA

Up to $130K

Up to 50% travel.

MUST have experience with .NET and Java, and MUST have Architect experience.

Responsibilities:
-Primary role is to design and develop innovative solutions and use cases for sets of products and services to meet customer’s needs.
-You will work closely with consultants, product and marketing managers, network, security, application, systems, and storage engineers to identify and rectify gaps that may be detrimental to implementation for customers.
-Participate in on-going product development and high profile pre and post-sales opportunities.
-Work with customers to determine the optimal fit of Company’s product portfolio to solve the specific customer problem in these areas.
- Analyze business and market needs and translate them into clear, actionable product and service architectural requirements
-Work with business and product leaders to understand business requirements and help them understand how technology tradeoffs influence strategy
-Partner with Product Management to complete business cases for strategic concepts that will become products and services
-Integrate internally developed processes and intellectual capital with external offerings resulting in a cohesive service experience
-Operate as lead architect within a team of technical leads, each with individual specializations, to create a coherent and advanced architecture and offering
-Provide subject matter expertise within multi-discipline product and service development teams
-Translate internal and external feedback and field research findings into product and service design improvements

Qualifications:
-MUST have experience with .NET and Java.
-MUST have Architect experience.
-Bachelors Degree in Computer Science a must however, a Master Degree preferred
-At least 5+ years experience leading large design efforts and coordinating cross-functional project teams of 4 or more members
-5 to 10 years experience in product development and lifecycle maintenance, sales support, or technical services role
-Strong Windows, Linux, and Unix backgrounds
-Strong working experience with .NET
-Experience in web services and application infrastructure design
-Extensive experience designing and implementing highly available application and infrastructure platforms for recovery
-Ability to communicate design rationale and build consensus across organizational boundaries
-Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems
-Demonstrated experience in developing solutions leveraging physical and virtual platforms technologies in enterprise and service provider settings
-Demonstrate practical experience in the application of virtualization techniques and technologies to facilitate the development of highly scalable, multi-tenant managed IT services
-Demonstrated expertise in introducing new products/services and customer value propositions
-Experience in Utility or Cloud Computing concepts and design
-High-level technical knowledge and experience with enterprise monitoring and management products, architectures, and practices
-Ability to align IT architectures and recovery solutions for applications and systems
-Strong technical knowledge and experience with systems and application security practices
-Exceptional verbal & written communications skills
-Ability to effectively work in a team environment as well as independently
