Software Engineer Sr

MUST have a minimum of 5 years experience in software development. MUST have a minimum of 3 years experience working with the Microsoft .NET development platform, specifically with the C# language. MUST have a minimum of 4 years experience working on web-based software solutions.

Responsibilities:
-Responsible for the development of business continuity planning software and utilities.
-Work closely with other members of the software development, project management and management teams to ensure that software development projects are executed with a high level of technical excellence; with demonstrable functional and technical quality; and within allotted timeframes.
-Responsible for software development, driven by technical requirements and analysis; software defect resolution and documentation and communication of project details.
-Collaborate with Product Managers, Lead Software Engineers and Project Managers to ensure understanding of business requirements
-Develop and implement new system features and enhancements based on design specifications
-Proactively resolve issues in specification that will lead to quality or system performance issues in product
-Participate in technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, and contribute to development project estimates, QA test plans, and code reviews
-May participate in the architecture and design of software applications.
-Assist with the troubleshooting and resolution of escalated customer support issues
-Create and maintain documentation as it relates to the software development process

Mandatory Qualifications:
-BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required with a minimum of H.S Diploma or GED required.
-Minimum 5 yrs experience in software development
-Minimum of 3 years experience working with the Microsoft .NET development platform, specifically with the C# language.
-Minimum of 4 years experience working on web-based software solutions.
-Experience developing Windows Services in .NET.
-Experience designing and implementing data models
-Experience performing web application stress testing.
-Experience working in object oriented software architectures.
-Proficiency with Windows server environments.
-Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to multi-task in a highly technical, fast paced environment.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
-A detailed understanding of the XML, XSL, XSLT, XML Schema and XPATH standards.
-Proficiency with Oracle
-Experience conducting code reviews
-Previous experience reviewing and analyzing software changes
