Job Description:
$90-$100K

Hands-on database design, development, management and maintenance for several development, test and production systems on existing platforms in a UNIX environment. Design/Redesign customer applications based on customer requirements. Implement best practices for the full product life cycle from design to production and maintenance.

Minimum Requirements:
-5+ years database programming experience on complex business systems.
-Experience developing on UNIX; advanced Oracle programming experience; PL/SQL preferred.
-Familiarity with software "best practices" including build systems and version control.
-Ability to design/build new applications from the ground up; ability to extend a complex database platform.
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
-Team player with strong communications skills.
-Strong project management skills/accountability to handle multiple projects/meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
-Ability to solve complex problems; willingness to maintain/support existing programs.

Preferred Requirements:
-Subversion; Oracle Application Server, JBoss, Tomcat, Spring Framework, Axis, Oracle Workflow, Tapestry.
-Knowledge of at least one "scripting" language such as Perl, Python or Ruby.
-Knowledge of print languages/document and/or remittance processing a plus.
