Job Description:

Responsibilities:
-Install cost effective, operationally supportable solutions that meet complex customer requirements and SLAs.
-Maintain deep technical knowledge of multiple technologies within a customer environment.
-Provide direct operational support of Companys largest customers, maintaining ownership and a deep technical knowledge.
-Deliver end of the road support for complex environments.
-Provide clear technical documentation and written ISO9001 procedures to ensure other members can assist in monitoring, troubleshooting and changing complex customer environments.
-Responsible for direct customer communication, working closely with other technical teams and customer service teams.
-Build and maintain relationships with key customers technical staff members and with internal stakeholders from customer service and field operations.
-Provide technical assistance to all Company internal/external customers during environment outages.
-Have a familiarity environment resources being utilized by Company customers. Use this information to assist in resolving environment issues or trouble shooting impairments.

Qualifications:
-College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
-Three to Five years industry experience in a Microsoft Windows systems operations or engineering role, with substantial end-user or customer support interaction.
-Experience with:
--Strong Windows server support in a large, production server farm environment.
--Application troubleshooting, aided by developers and DBAs
--Sound understanding of hardware fundamentals. Able to make specific hardware recommendations based on I/O bound, memory bound, or processor bound applications.
--Enterprise level storage (Array/DAS) and tape backup platforms.
--Able to troubleshoot and provide resolution for servers with performance issues.
--Able to create end to end system monitoring and reporting solutions using performance monitor, SNMP and or by integrating third party products.
--Scripting skills.
--Knowledge of data communication concepts and technologies is required.
--Strong problem isolation and resolutions skills required.
--Must have the ability to lead and direct vendors to assist them in their efforts.
--Good interpersonal skills are a requirement.
--Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies.
--Must have the ability to effectively work in a team environment, as well as independently.
